Why do we exist? Well to put it in as few words as possible…to save the lost and equip the found! Jesus made it very clear that the foremost commandment of all is to love God and to love others (Mark 12:29-31). As a church of the New Testament, we are dedicated to fulfilling this commandment in a practical way; by feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, clothing the naked, showing hospitality to strangers, visiting the sick, the hurting, and the imprisoned (Matthew 25:34-40). This is best displayed in a passage of scripture found in the book of Isaiah, chapter 58. We desire to take Isaiah 58 to three circles of influence that are around us. 1. The first circle is the body of believers within the church. (Equipping The Church) 2. The second circle is the city we live in. (Loving The City) 3. The third circle encompasses the entire world. (Changing The World)
