Al-Quran Academy of Michigan is one of the entities of Islamic center of north Detroit (ICND). ICND is a faith based non-profit tax exempt under Internal Revenue Service guideline 501(c)(3) organization. The Academy offering a balanced education with excellent Tahfizul Quran and Academic program with the objective of successful in this life and the life hereafter. It is a meticulous program in which students memorize the noble Quran. The Tahfiz-ul-Quran program is open to children ages from 6 to 18 years old. However, we strongly recommend starting from the 3^rd grade Alhamdulillah, it is a very thoughtful planned program which includes Quran Tajweed, Hifz-ul-Quran and Islamic Studies. In addition to Quran memorization and revision, students are taught by qualified and experienced teachers to follow their k-12 core education consist of Math, Science, English, Language Arts, and Social Studies.

We are committed to provide necessary steppingstones to our future generation, so that they understand and accept Islam as the chosen ‘way’ of their lives and carry beauty of Islam to general to come.

Al-Al-Quran Academy of Michigan:

Al-Quran Academy of Michigan is none-profit educational institution has developed educational program including Full-time Tahfiz (Quran memorization), Part-time Tahfiz (Quran memorization), Alim Courses, Full-time and Part time Tahfiz for girls only, Weekend Islamic School, Evening/After school, and Summer Islamic school. The Academy is consistently experiencing growing and new demands are always knocking at our doorsteps. We take the future of Al-Quran Academy of Michigan and success of our students very seriously. The full-time program consists of Tahfiz-ul-Quran, Alim course and core subjects of k-12 general education. The exceptional efforts will help students to achieve high school with high SAT/ACT and transition into college/university.

Full Time Tahfiz-ul-Quran:

Alhamdulillah, the Tahfiz-ul-Quran program at Al-Quran Academy of Michigan is a very thoughtful planned program which includes Quran Tajweed, Tahfiz-ul-Quran and Islamic Studies. In addition to Quran memorization and revision, students are taught by qualified and experienced teachers to follow their core subject of k-12 general education includes Math, Science, English, Language Arts, and Social Studies.

The tahfiz program is open to children ages from 6 to 18 years old. However, we strongly recommend starting from the 3^rd grade. Upon completion of memorization of the Quran at Al-Quran academy of Michigan the students will be able to continue from next grade level in any school.

Part time Tahfiz-ul-Quran:

Al-Quran Academy of Michigan also developed an excellent part time tahfiz program which primarily focus Quran memorization and Tajweed. The student has opportunity to memorize the Quran with tajweed within 4 years attending only part time and without effecting grade school academy. Mandatory hours for tahfiz students are as follows: Friday 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm.

Full-time and Part-time Tahfiz-ul-Quran for Girls only:

Alhamdulillah, the full-time girls tahfiz program started on September 2018 with an excellent Hafizah who is fluent in Arabic, English and Bangla. All classes for boys and girls are held separately. We also have women teachers to teach girls general education.

Our part time girls tahfiz program with a qualified teacher who also fluent in both English and Arabic, and it started in September 2017. This program primarily focusses on memorization with Tajweed. Alim Course:

Alim Course is a comprehensive study of Islamic theology consist of Arabic language, Quranic Tafseer, Science of Hadith, Fiqh, Seerah and more.

Alim course at Al-Quran Academy of Michigan designed and taught by qualified and experience scholars. Our six-year Alim course program will help our students achieve excellency in various disciplines by understanding the Islamic theology with critical thinking skills. Alim Course for adults

Alim Course for grown-up is thoughtfully designed program to provide authentic Islamic knowledge to preserve the tradition of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and create a team of informed Muslims who will convey the message of Islam. The students will achieve excellency in various disciplines by understanding the Islamic theology, Quranic Tafseer, Science of Hadith, Fiqh and Seerah. The most importantly students will learn to be responsible towards the society at large. Our Introductory Alim course prepare students to deliver effective khuthba, speeches and Dawa activities to propagate all levels and environments. Upon completion of “Introductory Alim Course” at Al-Quran Academy of Michigan, the students can pursue for higher Islamic education and research programs.

Weekend School:

Al-Quran Academy of Michigan designed weekend school program to help students to enriched Islamic education. The curriculum includes learning Quran recitation with Tajweed, Islamic studies (Seerah, Fique) and Arabic language. The Weekend School runs from 10:30 am and 2:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Evening / After School program:

Both after school and weekend school program designed to help students those who attend regular school. This program curriculum includes learning Quran recitation with Tajweed, Islamic studies (Seerah, Fique) and Arabic language. After school program runs from Wednesday – Friday 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm.

Class Size:

Since we believe in quality over quantity, small size classes are designed to promote close student and teacher’s interaction. Students get the opportunity to interact frequently with their teachers in and out of class, allowing them to participate in lectures, ask questions, or discuss topics in detail.
